Our Services

Emergency / Hospitalization

Available Thursday-Friday-Saturday from 4pm-12am, Tanglewood Emergency, a subsidiary of Performance Equine, Inc. is dedicated to on call emergency services.

Outside of these hours, we are a haul-in facility and hospital for non-surgical patients requiring therapy modalities such as IV fluid therapy, wound closure, intravenous antibiotic administration, or management of cases where a primary general practice vet cannot manage feasibly in the field.

Rehabilitation

Designed for long term rehabilitation of wounds or injury, our team of health professionals has a multitude of stall or turnout options to get your athlete back to peak performance as soon as possible. Dry lots, small flat turnout, round pens, herd integration, and 24/7 hay available are just a few features Tanglewood offers.

Bandages or leg wraps and medication administration are available upon request for additional fees.

Retraining

Dr. Samantha Farabee has been retraining and rehoming Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds since 2004 and has a wide experience in a multitude of disciplines.

Horses in training will be exposed to English disciplines such as dressage and low-level jumping, Western disciplines (western pleasure, trail riding and overnight camping), driving, and other areas to find the most suitable match for your horse’s interests and abilities. Finish your racehorse your way!
